MANAGERS NOTES
We at the Post are busy making preparations for our annual 4th of July celebration. Again this year, our S.A.L. Squadron will be the caterer of the food booth. They do a really great job. Your favorite summer fare will be available from noon to 8 p.m. on the Post grounds. The band "Excellent Drivers" will be performing outside from 2-6 p.m., so be sure to wear your comfortable parking lot dancing shoes. The "d.b. Cooper" band will perform in the lounge from 8:30 p.m. - 12:30 a.m. The fireworks display will start at dusk. It will be tough for the city to top last year's display, simply awesome, but I'm sure they will try. We are keeping our fingers crossed for nice weather and are looking forward to a great turnout.

As you may imagine, for an event this size to be successful, a lot of volunteer help is necessary. If any of you can help out on the 4th, it would be greatly appreciated. Volunteer sign-up sheets will be posted next to the display case in the dining room.

Congratulations to 2009-2010 Commander-elect Craig Dineen. I look forward to working with Craig in the upcoming year.

Please keep your club in mind as an option for your dining and social occasions this summer. The dining room, lounge, and pull tab operation needs your continued support in order to navigate through these tough economic times.
